The land where Podere Lesignano was established was purchased back in 1850 by the great-great-grandfather of the current owner, Stefano Valentini. The property was home to a centuries-old stone pine which, from the top of the hill where it stood, dominated the surrounding landscape; for this reason, it was popularly known in the local dialect as \u201cE Puder De Pegn\u201d.

Today, on that hill, after a lightning strike brought the pine tree crashing down in 2012, a young oak tree has begun to grow, a metaphor for the future and a symbol of the social, environmental and cultural responsibility that the company wishes to embrace towards the land that continues to host it, after approximately a century and a half of history.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Over the course of five generations of the same family, Podere Lesignano has successfully woven its history with the future, combining its agricultural, commercial and management activities with education, rural tourism and intercultural relations.The company\u2019s agricultural vocation is therefore deeply rooted in history, unfolding alongside the historical and social developments associated with the system of farmsteads.These farmsteads, self-sufficient in terms of food, energy and employment, formed the foundation upon which the entire socio-economic system of the time was built.

Today, Podere Lesignano extends over a total area of 7 hectares.In addition to growing vines, olive trees and wheat for the production of wine, olive oil and flour, the Valentini family has developed the estate to include an educational farm for groups and schools.

In addition, Podere Lesignano is also a venue for hosting events, from weddings and birthday celebrations to graduation parties, team-building activities and corporate dinners.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
